We are so excited to bring you our own olive oil - Nari, meaning "fiery" in Arabic, is our unfiltered, extra virgin olive oil from the Koura region of Lebanon, where founder Rose Previte's family is from. Nari is smooth at first with an early flavor, then gives a spicy kick at the end.
Why unfiltered? The olive oil extraction process produces pulp and olive particles that are present, and many brands remove this to create "filtered" oil. Nari olive oil is instead unfiltered - unfiltered oil tends to provide a more powerful, fresher taste and retain additional antioxidants and polyphenols in the oil. Unfiltered oil is what we're used to having with our grandmas around the table, and we wanted to bring that flavor to you.
